THIS Sunday, starting at 2:00 p.m., is the HATBORO HOLIDAY PARADE. So close & so much fun! Confession - my sister, Mim, refused to be anywhere near me when the different marching bands went by because I'd start to weep. Well, anyone who knows a kid in band knows his or her parents are right there with them. A band parent is a different breed than the rest of us, to the max with loyalty, dogged determination & enthusiasm for all things band. I am in awe of them! And, yes - I weep because I know the love, support & sacrifice that pours from your typical band parent!
You are now forewarned to steer clear if you see me close by & hear a marching band coming up Old York Road!
An ideal start to the parade is lunch at Daddypop's or Hatboro Dish. I'll be making a stop at both Lochel's (All-American, all-fabulous) Bakery AND Nonno's Italian Bakery for a mid-parade pick me up.
The Hatboro Holiday Parade - a great family tradition, for all ages!
